Recently, I have been interested in getting my photographs published in multiple magazines. But many say, "no original transparencies accepted". What does the word "transparancies" mean when talking about digital photography?

They are not talking about digital when talking about trannies.
Transparencies are slide film.
They are saying they won’t accept the originals meaning you would have to send duplicates.
Not relevant if you are shooting in and they accept digital files.
